Spam and Downtime |
|
 Humble apologies for recent problems with the site. This was due to the activites of a number of spambots, which have deluged us with a mass of postings and comments leading to sites of a disreputable nature.
Hopefully we have now deleted the vast majority of rogue entries, but please do report any spam sitings to spam@theremin.info, and they will be dealt with as appropriate.
Unfortunately, we did experience some downtime due to the spam outbreak, and we can only apologise for this.

Theremin Buffs may know already that John Cage's Variations V included a number of custom-built theremins built by Dr. Bob Moog.
We've recently unearthed a video file of the performance, which is now available on our John Cage page.

| We've discontinued our support for alt.music-makers.theremin due to the exceptionally high volume of spam on this group recently. We very much doubt this will affect anyone adversely, but apologies if it does.

Forums and Display Issues Fixed |
|
| Thanks to those that emailed to say they were experiencing some problems with the site. The bug in the forums is now (hopefully!) fixed, and Anonymous users are now able to post.
After hearing that some users on lower screen resolutions were experiencing difficulties viewing the site, we've now made the width of the site smaller.
If anyone else has difficulty with anything, then let us know so we can put it right!

We've been hard at work on Theremin.info for the past two months. Not only have we redesigned our site and given ourselves a new look, but we've added even more theremin related content, with more to come over the next month too.
Some of the highlights of our overhaul are...

You can now upload you own sounds, pictures, or other information to the 'download' area by Clicking here!
We've updated our Mobile content - you can now get all your theremin news on the move from Theremin.info-Mobile

AvantGo users can get the Theremin.info channel here.
Oh!, and last but not least... now members can submit news, and have it published immediately to our front page. We've also overhauled the submission process so that no knowledge of HTML is needed.

Over the past few days, the website has been unavailable, due to the fact we were hacked.
