Eric Ross on Number 1 Album in Japan

Musician Eric Ross is guest artist on the No.1 charted CD in Japan. He plays theremin, guitar and synthesizer on Aqi Fzono's "Cosmology". It broke in at No.5 ranking just two days after it was released. It shot to No.1 and has been there for a few weeks according to the CGI Heavy Seller ranking compiled each day, week and month.

Bob Moog Dies
NewsAnonymous writes "Bob Moog died Saturday, August 21, at his home in North Carolina. He had been diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year. Although Lev Termin invented the theremin, nobody in the past 50 years has done more to promote the instrument than Dr. Moog. He built and sold his first theremins to help pay for college. He made several versions of them over the years, including the Ethervox Midi theremin and his lastest creation, the Etherwave Pro. No public memorial is planned. Fans and friends can direct their sympathies or remembrances to www.caringbridge.com/visit/bobmoog. Bob's family has established The Bob Moog Foundation dedicated to the Advancement of Electronic Music in his memory. For details, go to www.moogmusic.com "
