Without Touch 3.6 Theremin Festival

The next Without Touch festival organized by the Lippstadt Music School under their director and thereminist Wolfgang Streblow will be held on March 12 to 14, 2010 in Lippstadt/Germany. Lydia Kavina will teach there in individual and group lessons. An additional "theremin orchestra" improvisation session under her conduction will allow all participants to have lots of fun. She and some of her students will be performing on Saturday night during the "Night of the music", a performance embedded into the "Days of choir- and orchestra-music" which are held in the same time. You'll find more info and a registration form on the website of the Musikschule Lippstadt. Thierry Frenkel will also be there with his "mobile theremin tuning, repair and upgrade shop". Participants (and non-participants) may bring their theremins in order to get them serviced, repaired, modified and/or calibrated for a small charge.
