Founded by John S. Simonton Jr. and his father in 1959, PAiA is a leader in the development of kit products for the musician and electronic experimenter. PAiA's first commercial products were released in 1967. An interesting fact is that their users group magazine eventually became Electronic Musician magazine. Electronic Musician has changed hands many times since then, but it is still published today!
